Acceptable Use Policy

AI Pet Portrait is for portraits of pets, and for Pet & Me photos of you together with your pet. This policy applies to every photo you upload and every image you create.

Upload only photos you may use

• Upload photos you took yourself, or photos you have permission to use.
• Do not upload other people's pet photos (for example from social media or a photographer) without their permission, or images that infringe someone else's copyright or trademark.

Keep the pet as the subject

• For pet portraits, upload photos where an animal is the main subject. Photos without a pet are refused.
• Do not use pet portraits to make pictures of people.

Photos of people

Add pet to photo (adding your pet into a photo you already have):

• Upload only photos where everyone shown has agreed to their use. Before generating you confirm: "Everyone in this photo has agreed to its use, and I'm the parent or legal guardian of any child in it."
• Photos with children are allowed when you are their parent or legal guardian and everyone in the photo has agreed.
• The edit is fixed: you cannot type instructions, and the AI is told not to change anyone's face, body, clothing, pose or the number of people. Results that add or remove a person are not shown and the credit is returned.
• Photos of public figures or celebrities are refused.

Pet & Me (a new photo of you with your pet):

• You may upload one photo of yourself, or of another adult who has given you permission. Before generating you confirm: "This is me, or I have permission from every person in the photo, and everyone is 18 or older."
• The person photo must show exactly one person. Photos of public figures or celebrities are refused. Photos of children or teenagers are never accepted in Pet & Me.

In every mode:

• No content that sexualizes anyone, and never any sexual or suggestive content involving a minor. Such uploads are refused and flagged for review.
• Do not use these features to put someone in a picture they did not agree to, or to embarrass, harass or impersonate anyone.
• Results that show children are never used as examples on this site.

Never allowed

• Nudity or sexual content.
• Violence, gore, or animal cruelty.
• Hate speech or hateful symbols, harassment, or content that targets a person or group.
• Anything illegal, or content that promotes illegal activity.
• Using portraits to deceive people, for example to impersonate someone or to pass an AI image off as evidence.

Do not abuse the Service

• One account per person. Do not create extra accounts to collect more free previews.
• Do not use bots, scripts or scraping to access the Service, and do not try to get around rate limits, watermarks or paywalls.
• Do not attempt to break, overload or probe the security of the Service.

How we check

• Every uploaded photo passes an automatic safety check before anything is charged. A refused photo uses no credit and no free preview.
• Every generated image passes the same check before you see it. If it fails, it is not shown and its credit or free preview is returned.
• Every image has a Report link. Reports and automatic refusals are recorded as a category and an action only (for example "violence, blocked"), and a person on our team reviews them. To review a report, that person may look at the reported image's preview.
• Automatic checks can make mistakes in both directions. If a photo was refused by mistake, try another photo or email us.

What we do about it

We may block uploads or images that break this policy, delete them, and suspend or close the account involved. A suspended account cannot generate images or buy credits from that moment on. Credits on accounts closed for abuse are not refunded. To report content or abuse, use the Report link or email hello@aipetportrait.ai.
