Privacy Policy
What AI Pet Portrait (aipetportrait.ai) collects, why, who processes it, and when your photos and portraits are deleted.
Last updated: 2026-10-23
This Privacy Policy explains how AI Pet Portrait (aipetportrait.ai), operated by Wang Qi Yang trading as AI Pet Portrait, 68 King William Street, London EC4N 7HR, United Kingdom ("we", "us"), handles your information. Contact: hello@aipetportrait.ai.
What we collect
- Account details — your email address and name, and your profile picture if you sign in with Google. We store a record of your sign-in sessions, including the IP address and browser they came from, to keep your account secure.
- Photos you upload — the pet photo you choose for each image; for Pet & Me, the photo of you (or of another adult who gave you permission); for Add pet to photo, the photo you want your pet added to, which may show other people. For both, we record the time you ticked the consent box and which version of its wording you saw.
- Images we generate — the free previews and HD images created for you.
- Safety records — when an automatic check refuses a photo or result, or someone reports an image, we record the category and the action taken (for example "violence, blocked"), the account and the time. We do not keep the image in that record.
- Credits and purchases — your credit balance, the packs you bought, amounts and dates, and the license type of each HD portrait. Card details are entered on Stripe's checkout page; we receive the payment status, not your card number.
- Orders of prints and gifts — the delivery name, address, phone number and email entered at Stripe's checkout, the product, its print position, the amounts paid (including sales tax) and the order and tracking status.
- Technical data — your IP address, used briefly to limit abuse (for example, too many requests in a short time) and to tell which country's cookie rules apply, and server logs kept by our hosting provider.
- Usage data — on aipetportrait.ai only, and subject to your cookie choice: the analytics events listed under "Cookies and analytics".
How we use it
We use this information to run your account, create the images you ask for, check photos and results for safety, process purchases and refunds, send account emails (such as email verification and password reset), prevent abuse and answer support requests.
Automatic safety checks. Every uploaded photo and every generated image is checked by an AI model before anything is charged or shown. The check looks for nudity, violence, hate symbols and children, counts the people and animals in the picture, and estimates whether anyone looks under 18 or like a well-known public figure. It returns only yes/no answers and counts; we do not create or keep face templates, and we do not identify who is in a photo.
Your photos are used only to make and safety-check your images. We do not use your photos or portraits to train AI models, and we do not sell your personal information.
Who processes your data
We share data only with the providers needed to run the Service:
- kie.ai and the AI model providers it routes requests to — receive your uploaded photo and return the generated portrait.
- Cloudflare — hosts the website, the database and the private file storage, resizes and watermarks free previews, and runs the automatic safety check (Cloudflare Workers AI).
- Stripe — processes payments; for prints and gifts it also collects the delivery address and phone number and calculates sales tax.
- Printify — our print partner for physical products. For each order it receives the print file of your portrait and the delivery name, address, phone number and email; we share them only so that the order can be produced and delivered.
- Resend — sends account emails.
- Google — if you sign in with Google (the "Continue with Google" button or the Google One Tap prompt): our pages load Google's sign-in script, and Google processes the data needed to sign you in under its own privacy policy. Google Analytics also processes the usage data described under "Cookies and analytics", subject to your cookie choice.
These providers act on our instructions. Some may keep temporary copies for a short time under their own policies, and some are located outside your country.
How long we keep it
- Uploaded photos: deleted within 24 hours after the portrait is generated.
- Generated portraits (previews and HD files): deleted 30 days after they are created. Download the ones you want to keep.
- Delivery details of physical orders (name, address, phone, email): removed from our database 30 days after the order is completed (delivered, canceled or closed). The order record without them is kept like other purchase records.
- Print files of physical orders (an enlarged copy of the portrait, made only when a size needs it): deleted 30 days after the order is completed.
- Account and purchase records: kept while your account exists; purchase records may be kept longer where tax or accounting law requires it.
Your files are stored privately. Only your signed-in account can open them, except that a member of our team reviewing a report or a refused result may open that image's preview.
Cookies and analytics
- Needed cookies keep you signed in and protect your account. They are always on.
- Google Analytics 4 runs only on aipetportrait.ai (never on test or preview copies of the site) and uses Google Consent Mode v2. If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, analytics cookies stay off until you press "Accept" in the cookie banner. Elsewhere, analytics cookies are on by default and you can turn them off any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Analytics receives only these events: photo uploaded, generation started, generation finished, preview unlocked, checkout started and purchase completed, with the style or scene, the mode, the pack and the amount. It never receives your email address, your name or your photos. Google signals and ad personalization are turned off.
- Google sign-in — if you use it, Google's sign-in script may set its own cookies under Google's policy.
- Advertising pixels — we do not use any today. If we start measuring ads with the Meta Pixel or the TikTok Pixel, we will update this section first. They would load only on aipetportrait.ai, only after you accept in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, never when you have refused, and would receive only "checkout started" and "purchase completed".
You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings; refusing does not limit any feature of the Service.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to delete your account, by emailing hello@aipetportrait.ai from the address on your account. Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, the UK or California), you have further rights under local law, including the right to complain to a data protection authority.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (16 in the EEA and the UK), and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Do not upload photos of children except as the Acceptable Use Policy allows for Add pet to photo (Photos with children are allowed when you are their parent or legal guardian and everyone in the photo has agreed.). The automatic check refuses photos that appear to show anyone under 18 wherever children are not allowed, and results that show children are never used as examples.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
